Historic Temple:
a milk supplier to Kootapanai was hit at a particular place on its path through Uvari to sell his milk. He cut off the root of the Kadamba tree when it began to bleed. A voice says the milk seller that he was there and asked him to build a temple. The supplier of the milk has done with palm leaves and in the days that followed, the temple has grown to the current size. The followers are pleased that any disease of any nature is healed by the Lord.
